What Is Police Martial Arts?

Police martial arts is a comprehensive, practical martial art that organizes the technical and mental-discipline traditions of Eastern martial arts into a modern self-defense training system.

The IPMAF, led by President Choi Seon-gil, was the first organization to bring police martial arts to professionals in the military, police, security and special agencies. It has taught self-defense techniques to the police and in programs connected with the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family and the Ministry of Health and Welfare, and it has published a textbook to keep raising the quality of instruction.

Together with the World Hapkido Federation (WHF), it is an international member of TAFISA (The Association For International Sport for All).
